I don't normally go in for parking lot carnivals. Seem so cheeze... But we went last night after enjoying barnes and noble a while and had a great time.

Algona Neighborhood

Wow. Tuecked away in a little web of twisting streets off of Fourth Plain in Vancouver, is a little neighborhood of the most charming houses. Got to see this place. I'll wager many in live in Vancouver theirentire lives and never know this community is just a 100 yards off a very main street.

Had a wonderful time with Maggie's new teacher, Ms Beck. Sounds like a good teacher for this year.

Fort Stevens

Oh yeah!

A couple weeks back we went to Ft Stevens to meet up with Shaun's family and watch the Civil War reenactment there. Nice time.

The pics are of some of the guns overlooking the mouth of the Columbia.

Playing at Father's House

Wonderful reunion time. :-)

I got to spend time with my friend Chuck McCool, who would getting married the following Wednesday, and Steve and Deborah Trujillo at their church called Father's House.

Father's House is in downtown Portland beside the South Park blocks.

Only church I've ever heard of that offers ear plugs at the back for those who want them. :-) Not sure if that's connected to the plaster I saw falling from the ceiling, but...

Thanks, guys! Really enjoyed it.
